During the recent visit to Greenland, the Queen of Denmark wore lots of ensembles perfect for the chilly weather–plus a little “ice” (in diamond form!) and a fabulous polar bear brooch.

The Fourth of July is a day when we mark our national independence from Britain, but I thought it was also a perfect day to highlight a fascinating bejeweled moment from our enduring special relationship.
