The Essex Tiara is displayed in Paris at the Grand Palais, December 2013; the tiara, created in 1902 by Cartier for the Countess of Essex, is now owned by the jewelry firm. It was worn at Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation by Clementine Churchill and by Crown Princess Margarita of Romania on her wedding day
