Tonight at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the British royals attended the annual Festival of Remembrance. The annual festival commemorates the lives of service members lost in conflicts. Here’s a look at the jewels the royals wore to honor them.

The Queen usually chooses one of her diamond brooches to gather a bunch of paper poppies for remembrance events. This year, the Dorset Bow Brooch was her choice. (Learn more about it here!)

HM also wore Queen Alexandra’s wedding earrings and a triple strand of pearls. (More on the earrings over here.) The pearls are longer than her usual daytime set; I believe this necklace may be one that has an elaborate diamond clasp.

The Duchess of Cornwall wore a crystal poppy pin (more on those over here) with one of her favorite pearl and diamond necklaces. She also wore an intriguing pair of earrings that appear to be set with diamonds.

The Duchess of Cambridge chose a pair of diamond and pearl earrings that have been loaned to her by the Queen. (See a close-up here!) She appears to have secured her poppies with her Oak Leaf Brooch, which you can see in detail over here.

The Duchess of Sussex neatly echoed the neckline of her dress and the red of her paper poppy by wearing earrings with heart-shaped ruby drops.

The Princess Royal wore classic pearl earrings and a dramatic pearl necklace. She gathered her paper poppies with her diamond star brooch, and pinned below that jewel was the cap badge of one of her regiments. (I think it’s the Blues and Royals, but I’m not certain about that. Please chime in below if you know either way!)

The Countess of Wessex wore a crystal RBL poppy brooch for the event, as well as the badge of Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps. She also wore sparkling hoop earrings and a cross necklace.

The Duchess of Gloucester wore some of my favorite jewels of the evening. Like Meghan, she decided to echo the red of poppies in her jewelry, including vintage diamond and ruby clip brooches and an interesting ruby red ring. Her earrings also appear to be set with rubies. She also wore a gorgeous strand of silvery black pearls.
