On Thursday, the Grimaldis gathered in Monaco for a gala devoted to supporting the planet. There were plenty of celebrities, lots of jewels and glamour—and a surprise tiara moment from someone who couldn’t attend in person.
The Grimaldis gathered in Monaco on Friday for the return of a major annual event: the Red Cross Gala! This year’s version came with a new outdoor twist—but still included plenty of sparkle.

What better time, I thought, to survey the tiaras worn by one of the most famous American royals: Princess Grace of Monaco, who was Grace Kelly of Philadelphia before her marriage.
