Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
This week, a future monarch reached the age of majority. Today, we’ve got a look at the first important official act for the future Queen Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands—plus reasons why we’ve got plenty of hope for lots of sparkling tiaras in her future!
As a December baby (who celebrated her birthday yesterday, actually!), I’m a big fan of my light blue birthstones, the vibrant blue topaz (or zircon) and the dreamy purple-hued tanzanite. Today, I’m spotlighting a suite of royal jewels that many believe incorporates tanzanites in its design: Queen Maxima’s lovely blue gem and moonstone necklace and its coordinating earrings.
On Tuesday, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands made a museum visit in Haarlem, and she brought some festive and fun earrings along with her.
