Our countdown of the best tiara moments from Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden’s 2010 royal wedding has arrived at number six: the rubies worn by Anne-Marie, the former Queen of Greece!

Queen Anne-Marie, who is a sister of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and a first cousin of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, wore a sparkling diamond and ruby parure that comes from the former Greek royal vaults.

The diadem, the Ruby Olive Wreath Tiara, originally belonged to Queen Olga of the Hellenes. Here’s an excellent close-up of the sparkler from this royal wedding.

Next up on our countdown of the best tiara moments from Crown Princess Victoria’s 2010 royal wedding is … the diamonds and pearls worn by Infanta Cristina of Spain!

This was one of Infanta Cristina’s last major tiara appearances, thanks to the scandal surrounding her husband, Inaki Urdangarin, and his corruption conviction.

It was also Cristina’s first and only public appearance in a major royal tiara: the diamond and pearl tiara that belonged to her great-grandmother, Queen Ena of Spain.

These days, it’s rare to see this particular tiara worn by a woman who is not a reigning queen, so this outing on Cristina was especially unusual. The tiara was made by Cartier in the 1920s; it was a renovation of one of Queen Ena’s wedding gifts. It was also originally able to be worn with Ena’s emeralds, which were later sold.

Our countdown of the best tiara moments from Crown Princess Victoria’s wedding continues with number eight: the dazzling diamonds worn by Princess Benedikte of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg!

Benedikte, who is the sister of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, wore fantastic diamonds and sapphires with Danish, German, and Swedish royal heritage.

Her tiara, the Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg Fringe Tiara, comes from the family of her husband, the late Prince Richard. She paired the classic fringe with diamond fan earrings from her mother, Queen Ingrid of Denmark. Her diamond necklace is part of the grand diamond sautoir that belonged to her grandmother, Queen Alexandrine of Denmark.

She also added even more glitter to her ensemble with a major family brooch.
