One of the simplest yet most sentimental pieces of jewelry in the Duchess of Cambridge’s collection is a gold link bracelet with a single disc charm. The piece is thought to have been a gift to Kate from her stepmother-in-law, the Duchess of Cornwall.

One side of the disc charm is engraved with Kate’s official cypher: the letter C surmounted by a ducal coronet.

The other side of the disc features Camilla’s official cypher: the letter C surrounded by a ring and surmounted by the coronet of the heir apparent.

Here’s an even better look at the details of the bracelet; you can see that each larger link is textured.

Kate wore the bracelet for the first time in public at Victoria Barracks in June 2011, only a few months after her wedding.

Two days later, she wore the bracelet to watch tennis at Wimbledon.

She also took the bracelet along with her on the 2011 tour of North America; she wore it at a polo match in Santa Barbara, California.
