Queen Elizabeth II wasn’t the only British royal lady at Tuesday’s garden party. Here are three more princesses who showed up in their bejeweled best!

The Countess of Wessex wore a pair of earrings that we saw quite a lot last summer: cluster earrings by Dior. The earrings are made of resin beads designed to resemble pearls.

I’m especially intrigued by the Duchess of Gloucester’s garden party jewels. This appears to be a set of coordinating earrings, brooch, and necklace. (Also — check out that elaborate umbrella handle!)

Queen Elizabeth II hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday afternoon, and she wore one of the earliest major additions to her jewelry box: the Flame Lily Brooch.

The diamond and platinum brooch was a 21st birthday gift; it was a present for the then-Princess Elizabeth from schoolchildren in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). It was also the first brooch she wore in public after her unexpected accession to the throne in 1952.

Princess Beatrice of York was out and about in New York on Monday evening, attending the launch of Ally Hilfiger’s new book.

To my everlasting dismay, Beatrice is not much of a jewelry-wearer, but she did accessorize this outfit with a collection of delicate gold bracelets.
