6. The Duchess of Cambridge turned heads at Royal Ascot on Tuesday in the Bahrain Pearl Earrings, which are on loan to her from the Queen. (See an earring close-up over here!)

5. Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom attended Ladies’ Day at Ascot in bright pink, including her round pink cluster brooch. (More over here!)
4. In Rome, Princess Viktoria of Bourbon-Parma (wife of King Willem-Alexander’s first cousin, and the Dutch ambassador to the Vatican, Prince Jaime of Bourbon-Parma) wore the base of the Antique Pearl Tiara and the family’s diamond crescent brooch for Tuesday’s state banquet. (More over here!)

3. Even though it was a daytime event, the Duchess of Cambridge made magpies happy by wearing diamond earrings on loan from the Queen at Saturday’s Trooping the Colour parade. (More over here!)

2. Queen Elizabeth II didn’t wear the Imperial State Crown at Wednesday’s State Opening of Parliament, but she did sneak in another piece of the Cullinan Diamond: the Cullinan V stone, worn in its lovely brooch setting. (More over here!)
1. My top vote of the week goes to — you guessed it — Queen Maxima, who wore pieces from the family’s grand Mellerio Ruby Parure at the Italian state banquet. (Much more over here!)
