Queen Elizabeth II wore a particularly springy brooch for the occasion: the Centenary Rose Brooch, a diamond and rock crystal piece. The brooch was the Queen’s 100th birthday gift to the late Queen Mother.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore her new Kiki McDonough blue topaz and diamond earrings. She debuted the pair during last week’s trip to Luxembourg.

You can spot the Princess Royal standing behind her father here; I believe she’s wearing pearl earrings and a coordinating necklace. If better photos of her jewels become available to me, I’ll post them here.

And finally, Princess Beatrice was also on hand for the festivities. As usual, she wore no jewels with her nautical-inspired outfit. I think if I were to accessorize this ensemble, I’d go with small pearl stud earrings and a simple gold bracelet. What about you?

UPDATE: As promised, we’ve got a better view now of some of today’s jewels. Princess Anne is indeed wearing pearl earrings, which are set in gold. Her pearl necklace has a gem-set clasp; the central stone is purple-hued, possibly amethyst.

And Princess Michael of Kent was also in attendance, wearing a pearl necklace, large pearl and enamel earrings (both pieces potentially costume, I think), and a sparkling cat brooch.
