It’s Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot! Here are some of the jewels we saw on Day 3…

The Queen wore one of the most special brooches in the Windsor collection: the diamond and sapphire Albert Brooch. The piece was given to Queen Victoria by Prince Albert on the day before their wedding. She wore it pinned to her wedding gown at the next day’s ceremony.

Princess Eugenie was the York in residence during the carriage procession. She wore two pairs of earrings: a gold stud with a pearl drop and a smaller star-shaped stud.

She also wore a delicate bracelet and rings. Eugenie definitely prefers jewelry that is on the minimal side, but I would really love to see her try a few bigger pieces. I think she has the presence to pull it off.
Princess Beatrice was also in attendance, wearing … no jewelry! (But a hat that makes her look like she’s ready to pilot a gondola.)

Sophie also wore a pair of bracelets, including her Tiffany T Collection bangle.
Princess Anne wore a gold brooch with an abstract pattern.
Princess Sarvath of Jordan rode in the carriage procession. I can’t wait to get a better look at her gold jewelry, especially her earrings.
Princess Michael of Kent wore pearls.
Also in the procession: the Duchess of Fife, who wore pearls, too.
And here’s Princess Haya of Jordan, Sheikha of Dubai, wearing gold jewelry and what appears to be an impressive ring on her left hand.
And one more aristocratic bonus: small drop earrings and a glittering right-hand ring.
Also in the carriage procession today: Princess Alexandra. Will update again if I get a decent picture of her!
