Following Thursday’s big 90th birthday celebrations, it was back to business as usual on Friday for Queen Elizabeth II. She and the Duke of Edinburgh hosted President and Mrs. Obama of the United States for a lunch at Windsor Castle.

The Queen wore her diamond and aquamarine clips for the occasion. The twinned clip brooches, reportedly made by Boucheron, have been in her jewelry box for more than 70 years; they were an 18th birthday present from her parents in 1944.

Like the Queen herself, these clips are classics that never go out of style.
