Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
Today in the Netherlands, the Dutch royal family gathered in The Hague for Prinsjesdag, and there were plenty of sparkling royal jewels–including Queen Juliana’s fabulous aquamarines!–on display.
This month, royals throughout Europe are remembering the triumphant moments of liberation that took place 80 years ago during World War II. On Thursday, the King and the Queen of the Netherlands joined in the celebration with a special meeting in the village of Mesch.
Yesterday marked the 51st anniversary of the death of King Gustav VI Adolf of Sweden and the accession of his grandson, King Carl XVI Gustaf. In honor of the King’s accession day, we’ve got a closer look at the unique collection of crowns owned–but not worn–by members of the Swedish royal family.
