Happy Valentine’s Day, dear readers! In honor of today’s holiday, I thought I’d bring you a sweet, sentimental throwback to an appearance by Queen Elizabeth II in pink during the golden summer of 2019, visiting a hospital where doctors tend to hearts.
This weekend, members of European royal families gathered in Turin for the funeral of Vittorio Emanuele di Savoia, the son of the last King and Queen of Italy. As with most royal moments of memorial and remembrance, lovely jewelry set with pearls and diamonds was worn for the service.
Today, Princess Astrid, the sister of the King of Norway, celebrates her remarkable 92nd birthday. Astrid remains an active part of the Norwegian royal family, attending gala dinners and sporting fabulous tiaras—all of which have links to her bejeweled royal ancestors from generations past.
