2. Queen Elizabeth’s best bejeweled appearance of the week, for me, came when she wore her aquamarine clip brooches during Thursday’s visit to Poplar in Tower Hamlets in East London, an event that commemorated bombings in the area during World War I.

1. But no one could top Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco this week, who wore a stunning suite of jewels, including earrings, a necklace, and a belt, to host the President of France for an iftar meal in Rabat on Wednesday.
