King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands are in Portugal for a state visit this week, and Maxima got things off to a very sparkly start during Tuesday’s official welcome ceremonies.

Willem-Alexander and Maxima were greeted at Lisbon’s Belem Palace, a former residence of Portuguese monarchs, by President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
