Crown Princess Victoria of Prussia (born Princess Victoria of the United Kingdom, later Empress Frederick of Germany) wears her diamond shell tiara in a formal court portrait, ca. 1865; this is the coronet given to her as a wedding present by her husband’s uncle and aunt, King Friedrich Wilhelm IV and Queen Elisabeth of Prussia, but its current whereabouts appear to be unknown
