The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child to the world on Monday, and Kate wore a pair of earrings with sentimental family links to debut her baby prince.

The earrings, which feature a diamond stud and a pearl drop, come from the collection of the little prince’s great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. He nearly shared her birthday, arriving only two days after she turned 92.
