Queen Elisabeth of Romania wears a bandeau-style tiara festooned with stars in a portrait taken by the Romanian photographer Franz Mandy, ca. 1882; I don’t have any information about the specific fate of this piece, but very little from the Romanian royal vaults has survived to the present day
