The Queen chose the Jardine Star Brooch for the day, pairing it with her signature daytime pearls. (Read more about the brooch here!)

The Duchess of Cornwall also wore pearls: her usual daytime pearl drop earrings and her pearl necklace with the large diamond cross clasp. She also pinned on an RAF Badge. (Camilla is the Honorary Air Commodore of both RAF Halton and RAF Leeming.)

Diamonds were the gemstone of choice for the Duchess of Cambridge, who wore the diamond frame earrings on loan to her from the Queen.

Kate, who is the Honorary Air Commandant of the RAF Air Cadets, also wore the Dacre Brooch, which you can read more about here.

The Duchess of Sussex, elegant in navy blue, made another outing in her Cartier wedding earrings. This appearance particularly shows that she’s remedied the problem of the earrings sitting awkwardly on her lobes. They look great here!

The Princess Royal wore a double-stranded pearl necklace, her gold and pearl earrings, and a very appropriate eagle pin. (Anne is the Honorary Air Commodore of RAF Brize Norton and the University of London Air Squadron.)

The Duchess of Gloucester was ultra-elegant as usual in diamond and sapphire earrings and clip brooches, plus a single strand of silvery pearls.

Princess Alexandra wore classic pearl and diamond cluster earrings with an unusual modern pearl and gold necklace. Some of the gold elements almost resemble talons — a subtle nod to the RAF’s eagle symbolism? (Alexandra is Patron and Air Chief Commandant of Princess Mary’s RAF Nursing Service.)

And Princess Michael of Kent wore a retro suite of jewels, also seen recently at Royal Ascot, that features button earrings, a sautoir-style necklace, and a coordinating ring. She also added a necklace with a single large pearl.
