Hollywood Royalty: Golden Globes Jewels 2019

It’s that time again, everybody: awards season has dawned! Today, we’ve got all the trendiest red carpet jewels straight from the Golden Globe Awards.

Statement necklaces made a big comeback this year, including this fringey delight on Elisabeth Moss

Taraji P. Henson doubled up on edgy diamond fringe necklaces

Dakota Fanning reached for a classic diamond garland necklace from Beladora

And Lady Gaga chose a festival of pear-shaped diamonds made for her by Tiffany

A close-fitting diamond choker necklace adorned Kiki Layne

And Yvonne Strahovski chose a dangerous-looking choker necklace made of diamond-set shards

Whimsical statement earrings were in at the Golden Globes, too, including this fantastic Lorraine Schwartz pair on Anne Hathaway

And this fan-shaped, pink-hued pair from Piaget on Jessica Chastain

And this bright green pair on Marin Hinkle

Green was everywhere on the red carpet this year, including lovely emeralds on Jodie Comer

And these stunning emeralds on Janet Mock

As well as these show-stoppers on Saoirse Ronan

And these mind-blowing Lorraine Schwartz emeralds on Catherine Zeta-Jones!

I also spotted green gems in this statement cocktail ring worn by Jeannie Mai

Major bracelets were all over the red carpet, too, including this spiky stunner on Amy Adams

A pair of enormous diamond cuff bracelets adorned Kristen Bell

A flexible bracelet of geometric diamonds was visible on Camilla Belle

And a big stack of diamond bracelets arrived on the red carpet with Sandra Oh

Two major diamond bracelets from Bulgari were also part of Charlize Theron’s ensemble

Charlize also participated in another trend: large diamond button-style stud earrings (in her case, with a floral motif)

Emmy Rossum chose square studs encrusted with diamonds

And Olivia Colman chose a pair of midcentury modern-style studs that brought fireworks to mind

Joanna Newsom’s hair jewels also had a distinctly vintage vibe

But Danai Gurira went for even more glamorous hair jewels: a pair of ’30s diamond and platinum swirl brooches from Fred Leighton

Also super glamorous: the combination of white and yellow gems in Rachel Brosnahan’s Irene Neuwirth earrings

And this absolutely stunning pair on Indya Moore

But one of my favorite moments was this inventive use of vintage brooches from Alex Borstein. Totally gorgeous pieces!
