Last year the twins were dressed in traditional costumes, but this year they wore regular late-summer clothes. They’re getting so big!

As per usual, members of the de Massy family, descendants of the late Princess Antoinette, also joined the princely family for the picnic. Behind Princess Gabriella you’ll spot Jean-Léonard Taubert-Natta de Massy, grandson of Princess Antoinette; the blond boy behind Prince Jacques is Jean-Léonard’s son, Melchior. Jean-Léonard’s half-sister, Mélanie-Antoinette Costello de Massy, is standing to the right of Prince Albert. Their mother, Elisabeth-Anne de Massy, usually attends the picnic, but she appears to have been absent this year.

Most of the Grimaldis chose modern rather than traditional attire for the picnic, but you’ll note that Prince Albert did wear a traditional tie for the occasion.
