Queen Maxima of the Netherlands has a jewelry collection full of brightly colored gemstones. Some of the most unique of these colorful pieces are her earrings set with pearls, peridots, and diamonds. Today, we’ve got a look at a recent appearance of these lovely jewels.
In July, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands made a state visit to Germany. For their official arrival in Berlin, Maxima wore a colorful dress from one of her go-to designers, Natan.
The dress and its coordinating headpiece had a floral theme, and Maxima picked up on the green tones with her accessories. She wore shoes and carried a clutch bag in a springy shade of green.
She carried the theme through with her earrings. These are her pearl, peridot, and diamond earrings, which also have a distinctly leafy look about their design.
The earrings come from an American store, Scully & Scully. The pearls set in the earrings are irregularly-shaped baroque pearls. The gems are set in yellow gold.
Maxima also brought along several of her signature bracelets. On her left wrist, she stacked an emerald and diamond tennis bracelet, a gold bracelet with engraved heart charms, and her watch. On her right wrist, she wore two geometric diamond bracelets with a slender gold bangle.
Peridots suit Maxima’s coloring exceptionally well, and I’m crossing my fingers that perhaps she acquired more pearl and peridot pieces from the same source!
