Queen Letizia of Spain was out and about on Friday, making an elegant appearance at a Spanish film festival. Here’s a closer look at her chic ensemble for the occasion.
Queen Letizia arrived in Tudela on Friday for the 21st annual ‘Opera Prima’ Film Festival at the Moncayo Cinema. For the appearance, Letizia reached into her closet for a navy blue ribbed wool dress. The Queen Letizia Style website tells us that the dress was made by COS, and that Letizia’s been wearing it for more than a year.
With the navy blue dress, Letizia wore black accessories, including an eye-catching belt from Burberry.
Inside the cinema, Letizia presented awards to the competition’s winners. The festival highlights the work of new Spanish directors who have completed their first films. Here, she presents an award to Maria Bardem.
Letizia wore two pieces of jewelry with her sleek, sophisticated outfit. One was, of course, her golden oval ring from Karen Hallam. It was in its usual place on the index finger of her left hand.
And she finished off the look with an impressive pair of pavé-set diamond hoop earrings.
Here’s another look at the hoops, which neatly echo the ribbed fabric of Letizia’s dress. Sometimes, less really is more—especially if “less” is a pair of diamond earrings this big!
