The British royals were back in action for the second day of Royal Ascot on Wednesday, and they brought along some gorgeous jewels with them!
For the second day running, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were in the lead carriage during the procession.
Prince Charles chose his diamond tie pin shaped like Prince of Wales Feathers.
Camilla was elegant in cream for the day.
She wore her pearl choker necklace with the round diamond clasp, plus a major pair of diamond earrings. We recently saw these during the Platinum Jubilee service of thanksgiving.
The Princess Royal wore shades of blue and gray on Wednesday, accessorized with pearls and her golden horse brooch.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex appeared together in the procession and the parade ring on Wednesday.
Edward was dapper, wearing a gold watch chain and an interesting diamond tie pin. Really wish we could see the details of the pin more clearly!
Sophie was lovely in a cornflower blue dress with matching accessories.
She kept the blue theme going with her jewels as well. She wore floral earrings set with blue and yellow gems, plus her fantastic aquamarine, diamond, and enamel brooch.
The Mapelli Mozzis were in the carriage procession on Wednesday as well.
Princess Beatrice again kept her jewelry ultra-minimal, wearing delicate gold bracelets and rings on both wrists and hands.
In the same carriage, Princess Alexandra sparkled in her classic diamond and emerald earrings. She also layered several necklaces, including a pearl torsade.
Alexandra’s granddaughter, Flora Ogilvy Vesterberg, was also at the races with her husband, Timothy.
She wore an elegant pair of diamond and pearl drop earrings with her floral dress.
Countess Mounbatten rode in the carriage beside Princess Alexandra, wearing diamond floral and pearl drop earrings.
And there was one more member of the extended royal family in the Royal Box: Lady Sarah Chatto, daughter of the late Princess Margaret. She wore her mother’s diamond and pearl drop earrings, plus a pearl necklace. I’m more intrigued, though, by the gem-set bracelets she wore on each wrist. They’re gorgeous!
