The Dutch royal family posed for their annual summer photo session this week—and amped up the glamour at the annual gala dinner for the diplomatic corps, too!
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima hosted a dinner for the diplomatic corps at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
Queen Máxima chose a coral-colored evening gown from her collection for the gala, paired with red accessories.
The red theme continued through to her jewels as well. She wore the tiara, earrings, and necklace from the family’s Mellerio Ruby Parure.
Princess Amalia wasn’t there to give us another big tiara moment, but her grandmother, Princess Beatrix, was on hand for the dinner. She wore pearls, including the Pearl Button Tiara, for the occasion.
On Friday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima were joined by their daughters for the annual summer photocall, held this year at the Noordeinde Palace in The Hague. The women of the family chose colorful and summery clothes for the photo session. (I’ll kindly remind readers that dissecting the clothing choices of teenagers isn’t what this website is about.)
Queen Máxima wore a pair of green beaded statement earrings with her outfit for the photo session.
The Princess of Orange wore gold jewelry with her floral dress, including gold hoop earrings, rings, and bracelets. One of her gold bangles features her name, Amalia, spelled out in diamonds.
With her green, white, and orange outfit, Princess Alexia wore bracelets and rings on both hands.
The youngest member of the family, Princess Ariane, wore a white dress for the photo session, keeping things ultra-minimal by not wearing visible jewels.
