The eyes of the world were on Monaco this weekend, where the annual Formula 1 Grand Prix race was held on the winding streets of the principality. The Grimaldis were out in force for the festivities, including Princess Charlene, who wore two pairs of dazzling earrings for the weekend’s events.
Since her return to the principality following an extended convalescence abroad, Princess Charlene has largely kept a low profile as she has continued her recovery. But recently, she’s been well enough to dip her toes back into the waters of public engagements, and she made a pair of appearances during the Grand Prix celebrations this weekend. Here, on Saturday, she joins her husband, Prince Albert, and actor/racing enthusiast Patrick Dempsey outside the Red Bull Racing garage prior to qualifying.
Charlene wore a gorgeous pair of diamond stud earrings for qualifying day, pairing them with chic sunglasses and a classic red lip.
The race itself was held on Sunday, and Albert and Charlene were joined by their children, Princess Gabriella and Hereditary Prince Jacques, on the podium.
With her blue jumpsuit, Princess Charlene wore diamond earrings with a modern floral design.
She also added a multi-finger ring on her left hand, which also appears to be set with diamonds.
Several other members of the extended princely family were in attendance on Sunday as well. In this picture, you’ll spot Charlene’s brothers and sister-in-law, as well as Princess Caroline’s children and some of their partners and kids.
From left to right here, we’ve got Chantell and Sean Wittstock, Maximilian, Tatiana, India, and Andrea Casiraghi, Raphael Elmaleh and Charlotte Casiraghi, and Gareth Wittstock.
Here, Beatrice Casiraghi and her younger son, Francesco, are pictured at the race. (Pierre Casiraghi is just out of frame.)
Charlotte Casiraghi wore Chanel and a pair of sunglasses with bright red frames.
And here, Beatrice and Charlotte walk with Princess Alexandra of Hanover and her boyfriend, Ben-Sylvester Strautmann.
