The Spanish royal family headed to Barcelona this week for an important awards ceremony, and both Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor brought along a little sparkle with their earrings.
The King and Queen of Spain were joined by their daughters, the Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia, for the Princess of Girona Foundation’s annual awards ceremony on Monday. “Princess of Girona,” the title traditionally held by the heir of the King of Aragon, is one of the titles now held by Princess Leonor. The foundation named after the title was founded in 2009, and its mission is the support of young people in both personal professional capacities.
Letizia, Leonor, and Sofia all dressed up for the ceremony, which was held at the Agbar Foundation in Barcelona.
Queen Letizia wore a striking navy blue midi dress for the ceremony.
Queen Letizia Style shares that the dress, which has a unique crystal detail at the neckline, comes from Bouret.
She added even more sparkle with her pavé-set diamond star earrings from Chanel.
Princess Leonor, who turned sixteen last October, delivered remarks during the awards ceremony.
Her styling for the event took cues from the world of ballet. She wore a lovely blue dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a full skirt.
She echoed the color of the dress with her jewels, wearing a sparkling pair of earrings.
The diamond and blue topaz earrings come from the brand Luzz. (Thanks to UFO No More for the ID!)
Infanta Sofia looked cool and comfortable in a flowing tunic top with a matching pair of trousers.
No visible jewelry for Sofia yet. The lack of accessories emphasized the minimalist lines of her outfit at the event.
