The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge headed to Windsor for a polo match on Wednesday afternoon, and Kate debuted a new pair of summery earrings at the event.
William and Kate arrived at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park on Wednesday for the Royal Charity Polo Cup 2022, part of the Outsourcing Inc. Royal Polo Cup. She’s not seen here, but the family dog, Orla, joined the Cambridges at for the match.
William changed into polo gear to play in the charity match, which raised more than a million pounds for charities supported by the royal couple.
Kate helped distribute prizes after the match and received kisses from her husband.
She greeted others who had participated in the charity match…
…and handed out awards, including an impressive-looking bottle of champagne.
Kate looked cool and comfortable in a summery Emilia Wickstead dress for the match, paired with spectator-style slingback flats.
Along with tortoiseshell sunglasses, Kate wore a new pair of earrings from Sézane. These are the brand’s Gabrielle earrings in the color “coffee.” The lightweight earrings are made of gold-plated resin and plastic.
In recent years, Kate has become quite a fan of jewelry pieces from Sézane, a French company that prides itself on sustainable business practices. In the summer of 2020, Kate wore the brand’s Stéphanie cuff bracelet for conversations at Sandringham with four organizations benefitting from a major Royal Foundation fund to support healthcare workers and mental health initiatives.
During the recent spring 2022 royal tour of Caribbean nations, Kate wore three different pairs of Sézane earrings. In the village of Hopkins in Belize, she wore their threaded blue Charlie earrings.
Kate chose the mother-of-pearl Celeste earrings for the couple’s arrival in Kingston during the Jamaican leg of the tour.
For a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Bahamas in Nassau, Kate wore the Taylor earrings in gold and turquoise.
Interestingly, Kate isn’t the only royal woman with the Gabrielle earrings in her jewelry box. Queen Mathilde of the Belgians wore the earrings (in the same coffee color) in June 2022 in the village of Katanga during an official visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
