Queen Máxima is back in action after her summer holiday—but she hasn’t put away her summertime jewelry wardrobe quite yet!
On Wednesday, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands headed to Delft for a royal occasion.
She joined Robbert Dijkgraaf, the Dutch Minister of Education, Culture, and Science, for a visit to the Welcome Week and Introductory Programme activity market for new students in Delft.
During the visit, Máxima participated in discussions of topics central to the mental health of students, including stress and pressure, as well as the importance of group activities and membership in student associations.
For the visit, Máxima paired an orange blouse from Natan with denim trousers. Her shoes and clutch bag coordinated with the color of the denim.
Her earrings, however, matched her blouse. She chose a pair of beaded tassel earrings, adding an additional summery touch to the bright, colorful ensemble. (Máxima is a big fan of the tassel style when it comes to earrings!)
While Máxima is often known for wearing large stacks of bracelet, she kept the rest of her accessories more minimal on this occasion.
Here’s a close-up view of the gold evil eye bracelet that she wore on her right wrist.
She finished off the look with even more orange, in the form of her eye-catching engagement ring. The jewel has a rare orange diamond as its centerpiece, flanked with white stones. She stacked the ring with her wedding band on her left hand.
