Crown Princess Mary headed to southern Denmark to open a new university facility this week, and brought pearl, diamond, and gold jewels along with her.
On Tuesday, Crown Princess Mary was in Kolding for the inauguration of the new campus of University College Syddanmark (University College South Denmark). She was joined by university faculty and staff, including Alexander von Oettingen, for a tour of the new facility.
The new campus is designed to offer space for the study of future sound technicians, teaching assistants and educators, and graphics-based communicators.
Mary also spoke with students during her visit. I’m sure she was paying close attention—it’s hard to believe, but her two older children, 16-year-old Prince Christian and 15-year-old Princess Isabella, will soon be making decisions about their post-secondary education plans.
The crown princess looked cool and collected in a blue and ivory ensemble for the visit, featuring a blouse and skirt with a woven belt in shades of navy, red, and white.
She accessorized with jewels made of gold, diamonds, and pearls. She chose a favorite pair of earrings from Dulong for the visit. They feature pearl drops with bezel-set diamond accent stones. She owns several pairs of similar earrings from the brand with different shades of pearls and varied design elements.
She wore diamond rings on her left hand (but not her ruby and diamond engagement ring), as well as a gold cuff bracelet from Rebekka Notkin.
UFO No More also offers us more information about additional jewels worn by Mary for the campus visit. On her right hand, she wore a diamond and gold ring, also from Rebekka Notkin, with an open oval design. She also wore a gold bracelet with a buckle design detail, plus a wavy gold bangle from Dulong.
