On Monday, Queen Letizia of Spain was a glamorous figure during a royal night at the opera, wearing a pair of sparkling statement earrings with an affordable price tag.
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain headed to the Teatro Real in Madrid on Monday for the opening of the opera season.
The King and Queen were seated in the theater’s royal box for the opening performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida, conducted by Nicola Luisotti.
Queen Letizia chose navy blue and gold for her opera ensemble, coordinating with the rich colors of the opera house itself.
The blue dress that she wore for the occasion is the “Paris” party dress from Miphai, made locally in Spain. (Thanks goes to Queen Letizia Style for the ID!)
With the dress, she wore a pair of €98 earrings from Sibela, a brand owned by the Spanish jeweler Isabel Peña. The rhodium-plated sterling silver earrings are described as having “stones” (presumably crystals) in shades of “sapphire” and “champagne.”
Here’s another view of the earrings. I love that Letizia offers us a mix of high and low price points when it comes to her jewelry, supporting smaller Spanish designers for some occasions while still bringing out heirloom pieces from the vaults for others.
