The holiday season is in full swing in Monaco, and Princess Charlene has worn sparkling diamonds for a pair of Christmas appearances with the Grimaldis.
On Friday, Princess Charlene and her children, Princess Gabriella and Hereditary Prince Jacques, were joined by her niece, Charlotte Casiraghi, for the opening of Monaco’s Christmas Village. They posed with girls wearing traditional Monegasque costumes (with a little extra holiday flair) on their arrival for the event.
They were also accompanied by one more member of the extended Grimaldi family: Mélanie-Antoinette Costello de Massy, a granddaughter of the late Princess Antoinette of Monaco (sister of Prince Rainier III).
Princess Charlene was elegant in navy and black at the Christmas Village opening. She accessorized with simple, chic diamond stud earrings.
Charlotte Casiraghi, as she is so often, wore Chanel for the occasion. She added starry earrings, which I would also wager come from Chanel. (They’re similar to Queen Letizia’s Chanel stars.)
Charlene also brought her diamonds along to another Christmas event in the principality a few weeks ago. On November 16, she and Prince Albert II hosted a Red Cross Christmas event at the Palais Princier.
The princely couple participated in the traditional distribution of gifts to people receiving support from the Red Cross.
They were joined by another niece, Camille Gottlieb, the younger daughter of Princess Stéphanie.
Princess Charlene wore a forest green dress with black accessories for the occasion. The green added a little extra festive holiday flair against the red and white colors of Red Cross.
She again wore the same pair of diamond stud earrings. I can’t blame her! If I had these in my jewelry box, I’d wear them everywhere.
Camilla wore a black and white tweed jacket for the occasion with a pair of gold and white enamel hoop earrings.
She also wore rings on both hands. On her right hand, I spy two Cartier rings: a gold Love ring and a gold Juste Un Clou ring.
