Last week, the King and Queen of Spain attended an awards ceremony in Zaragoza, and Letizia wore a very colorful ensemble for the occasion.
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia were on hand for the distribution of the prizes at the National Culture Awards in Zaragoza on February 20. The awards honor those who have contributed to the enrichment of Spain’s cultural heritage.
Queen Letizia wore wore a dress with a modern, graphic floral print from Temperley London for the occasion.
She previously wore the dress for an official dinner in South Korea in October 2019. On that occasion, she wore the ruby and diamond dove earrings on loan from Queen Sofia, plus her own ruby and diamond bracelet.
This time around, Letizia added even more color to her ensemble with a pair of earrings from TOUS.
These are the brand’s Beethoven earrings. They’re made of yellow gold and set with ruby, emerald, chrysoprase, green tourmaline, turquoise, opal and rose quartz stones.
The earrings have been in Letizia’s jewelry box for almost a decade. One of her earliest appearances in the pair came at a United Nations conference on nutrition in Rome in November 2014.
A few months later, in January 2015, she wore the earrings for an important annual celebration, Pascua Militar.
In June 2016, she chose the earrings for an audience with Michelle Obama at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid.
More recently, she wore the earrings for an economic meeting in Madrid in April 2021.
For last Monday’s National Culture Awards, Letizia wore the blue and green earring in her right ear.
And she placed the earring with the pink and red stones in her left ear.
She finished off the look with the new ring that she recently debuted this year for Pascua Militar. The ring, which comes from the brand Coreterno, is engraved with the final line of Dante’s Divine Comedy, “Amor che tutto move” (“Love moves everything”).
