Sezane Sparkle for the Princess of Wales in Birmingham

Prince William and Princess Catherine arrived in Birmingham on Thursday for a series of engagements highlighting the city’s diverse culture.

They stopped in at The Indian Streatery, an independent, family-run restaurant in the city centre, where they tried their hand at making roti in the kitchens.

They also giggled as William answered the phone to take a booking from a member of the public.

The visit also included a stop at The Rectory in St. Paul’s Square.

There, the royal couple attended a reception where they met with future leaders and local business owners from Birmingham’s creative industries sector.

Afterward, they did a walkabout outside the venue to meet gathered members of the public. William posed for a selfie with two locals…

…while Kate accepted lovely bouquets of spring flowers.

For the Birmingham visit, Kate wore a trench coat-inspired dress in a deep wine color with matching shoes. UFO No More tells us that the dress comes from Karen Millen.

Kate accessorized with gold jewelry, including a pair of statement earrings from a favorite brand.

The earrings come from Sézane. Kate has quite the collection of affordable pieces from the French brand. We discussed many of them in an earlier article.

Here’s a closer look at the pair that Kate chose for the Birmingham visit, the “Dina” earrings. The earrings, which were made in India, feature a gold-plated recycled brass coin stud with blue and gold pendants that include labradorites.

This is Kate’s second appearance in the earrings. She previously wore them on Christmas Day for a church service near the Sandringham estate in December 2022.

On Thursday, Kate paired the earrings with a gold necklace with a citrine pendant.

The necklace comes from the British jewelry designer Daniella Draper. Kate has worn it on several occasions this year.

And, of course, Kate rarely leaves the house without her trio of rings: her sapphire and diamond engagement ring, her Welsh gold wedding band, and her diamond eternity band.
