Last week, Crown Princess Victoria celebrated new innovations in Stockholm wearing a statement-making suite of modern blue jewelry.
On August 22, Crown Princess Victoria arrived at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre to attend the presentation of this year’s Stockholm Junior Water Prize. The prize recognizes winning projects submitted by students from the ages of 15-20 that work toward solutions to major water challenges.
Before the ceremony, Crown Princess Victoria posed with leaders from the Stockholm International Water Institute, the non-profit organization that coordinates the prize.
During the ceremony, Crown Princess Victoria presented this year’s Junior Water Prize to Naomi Park, a student from the United States. Her project tackles the problem of removing contaminants and debris from ocean water.
Crown Princess Victoria also presented the award’s Diploma of Excellence to Ayse Pelin Dedeler of Turkey. Her project proposes a new magnetic system for the removal of microplastics from water.
For the awards ceremony, Victoria wore an outfit that incorporated shades of watery blue. UFO No More tells us that her ensemble featured a top from Valentino and a skirt made by H&M.
She continued the blue theme through to her accessories, wearing a statement necklace and earrings made by Swarovski.
The jewels are from Swarovski’s Millenia collection. Here’s a closer look at the necklace from the brand’s website. The pieces feature blue crystals in rhodium-plated settings.
If the necklace looks familiar, that’s because we’ve seen Victoria wear it before. Above, she wears the necklace with a different skirt and top during her visit to Australia back in February.
On that occasion, Victoria wore a different pair of earrings from her jewelry box, featuring diamonds and blue gemstones in circular designs.
For the Junior Water Prize ceremony, Victoria chose to wear the complete Swarovski suite, pairing the necklace with its matching blue crystal stud earrings.
Here’s one more look at Victoria’s jewels from last week’s awards presentation. Which outing of the Swarovksi necklace was your favorite?
