Last week, the Spanish royals headed to Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca, bringing along sparkling summer jewels for a reception.
On August 3, King Felipe VI of Spain arrived at Marivent Palace to host a dinner for local authorities. He was joined by his wife, Queen Letizia, and his mother, Queen Sofia, for the annual event.
Both Queen Letizia and Queen Sofia wore flowing, summery ensembles for the dinner with bold prints. Letizia opted for a blue and white dress, while Sofia wore a printed blouse and matching trousers in neutral shades.
With her dress, Letizia debuted a new pair of starry earrings.
Queen Letizia Style tells us that these are the “Vents” earrings from Isabel Guarch, a small jewelry firm that has been located in Mallorca since 1957.
Here’s a closer look at the earrings from the company’s website. Made of 18-carat yellow gold and diamonds, the earrings take their name from the wind rose, an old navigation tool used on maps for sailors.
Letizia finished off the look with her Coreterno ring, worn as usual on the index finger of her left hand.
Queen Sofia, of course, went with her now-trademark jewelry style, piling on pieces with a “more is more” philosophy. She also wore a pair of gold earrings with dark drops.
She stacked numerous necklaces over her printed blouse and wore bangles on both wrists. She also added several rings to both hands.
Here’s one more look at Sofia’s necklaces for the dinner.
