On Wednesday, Queen Maxima made a musical appearance in Amsterdam wearing sleek, glamorous black pearls.
Queen Maxima of the Netherlands headed to the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on Wednesday to officially open the Teaching Orchestra Symposium.
The royal court explained that the symposium “focuses on the social meaning of learning orchestras, music and the brain and social bonding and self-control among students.”
For the symposium opening, Queen Maxima wore a green silk dress from Natan with a dark gray cape-style jacket and matching accessories.
Maxima picked up the sheen of the green silk and the richness of the gray accessories by wearing jewelry set with luminous black pearls. The jewels worn included pearl and diamond earrings and a modern black pearl necklace.
Silvery black pearls were also set as part of the large cuff-style bracelet that she wore on her right wrist for the occasion.
She finished off the look with an intriguing modern ring set with diamonds and a single large black pearl.
I thought you’d all like a closer look at the ring. The pearl is shaped like a teardrop, similar to the pearls used in the necklace.
