Let’s wrap up the week with a major pair of statement earrings, shall we? Last week, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands celebrated scouting in the Netherlands wearing some fascinating gold and pearl jewelry.
On Thursday, February 22, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands traveled to Woerden to attend a mini scouting jamboree. Maxima is patron of Scouting Netherlands, and her she was present for a day celebrating the theme “Young Leaders Shape the Future.”
The jamboree was held with Scouting Albert Schweitzer, a group named for the philosopher, physician, and theologian who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952.
Maxima went with a monochrome look for the visit, wearing a turtleneck, trousers, and jacket, all made by Natan. She draped a coat in a similar shade of ivory over her shoulders for her arrival.
While Maxima’s outfit was neutral, her accessories were definitely eye-catching. She wore a vintage pair of golden statement earrings with pearly centers.
The earrings feature a trio of textured gold discs with glass pearl centers. UFO No More tells us that these are vintage 1980s pieces from Mercedes Robirosa. Maxima has been wearing the earrings since February 2023.
Maxima also, per usual, stacked bracelets on both wrists. The chosen stack this time included the diamond bracelet featuring her family members’ initials (on her right wrist) and a gold bracelet with cabochon gemstones, engraved with the names of her husband and children (on her left wrist).
Maxima also wore rings on both hands. On her right, she wore an interesting gold ring that looks to have black enamel accents, and she wore her engagement and wedding rings on her left hand.
