Happy Easter! Today, King Charles was well enough to attend an Easter Sunday matins service in Windsor, and members of his family joined him–wearing lovely jewels, of course!
King Charles and Queen Camilla led a royal party at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor this morning that also included the Princess Royal and Sir Timothy Laurence, the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh with the Earl of Wessex.
For the service, Queen Camilla wore an Anna Valentine ensemble with a coordinating hat from Philip Treacy. She accessorized with gold and diamond earrings, most recently seen during her trip to Shrewsbury, and a brooch from the collection of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The petite brooch has a modern design and is set with diamonds, emeralds, and sapphires. It features prominently in a photograph of Queen Elizabeth II’s brooches in Dressing the Queen, the first book written by her dresser and personal assistant, Angela Kelly.
Princess Anne also wore green for the Easter Sunday service at St. George’s.
She added gold earrings to her ensemble, as well as a gold cross brooch that she often wears on Easter Sunday.
The Duchess of Edinburgh was lovely in royal purple-blue for the occasion, paired with an ivory beret and coordinating shoes.
She wore earrings from her collection that are set with citrines.
And finally, for the second consecutive major holiday, Fergie was part of the royal party. Sarah also wore green for the service, paired with small diamond hoop earrings and a gold logo chain belt.
Sarah also wore a headband embellished with crystals and resin pearls, plus bracelets, including one featuring the names of her daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, in diamonds.
Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday! I’ll be back here with more royal jewels bright and early on Tuesday morning. See you then!
