On Sunday, the Dutch royal family headed to Zandvoort for the Grand Prix of the Netherlands, and they brought along some suitably statement-making jewels for the thrilling experience.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands were joined by several family members, including their second daughter, Princess Alexia, as they attended the F1 Grand Prix of the Netherlands at the Circuit of Zandvoort on Sunday. Also present were the King’s nephew, Count Claus-Casimir of Orange-Nassau; his aunt, Princess Margriet of the Netherlands; and Margriet’s daughter-in-law, Princess Annette of Orange-Nassau.
Queen Maxima wore a green and white ensemble, including trousers with a leafy fern print, for the race, while King Willem-Alexander was relaxed in a tan suit with a blue shirt.
Queen Maxima always makes a statement, but her earrings were particularly eye-catching at the Grand Prix. She wore large green and white earrings in the shape of calla lilies.
ModeKoninginMaxima tells us that the earrings come from Cult Gaia. Above is a product shot of the earrings from the company’s website.
Maxima also added some special diamond pieces to her outfit, including her unique orange diamond engagement ring and her sparkling diamond wedding bracelet.
Princess Alexia, who turned 19 in June, is one of the trendiest members of the Dutch royal family. She wore a black one-shoulder top with gold-toned jewelry for the race, including trendy teardrop-shaped earrings and a necklace with a small pendant.
Here’s a better look at her gold teardrop earrings, plus her stacks of bracelets, from later in the day. One of the bracelets on her right wrist appears to be set with light green beads or stones.
Princess Margriet, the King’s aunt, was adorable in a red, white, and orange ensemble for the Grand Prix.
She wore a pair of gold necklaces for the race, including one with a charm in the shape of an owl, as well as red and orange statement earrings that coordinated with her scarf and trousers.
Princess Margriet’s daughter-in-law, Princess Annette, was in all black for the race. Like Alexia, she accessorized with gold jewelry, including a delicate necklace and several bracelets and rings.
