On Tuesday, Queen Máxima brought out her gorgeous suite of tanzanite jewelry as she opened a new factory in the Netherlands.
Queen Máxima headed to Delfzijl on Tuesday for the opening of a new commercial factory run by Avantium, a technology company that bills itself as a pioneer in the emerging industry of renewable and sustainable chemistry. Avantium’s CEO, Tom van Aken, was on hand to welcome Máxima to the new factory. The Queen was also joined during the visit by Sophie Hermans, the Minister of Climate and Green Growth. The new factory in Delfzijl will produce a product called Releaf, described by the company as a revolutionary material set to transform the plastics industry, with versatile applications including bottles, packaging, films, and textiles.
Queen Máxima arrived in Delfzijl wearing a navy blue ensemble, including a dramatic picture hat and a coordinating topper coat, handbag, and shoes.
Later in the day, she removed her coat to reveal a navy blue dress with white floral lace appliqué details. ModeKoninginMaxima reminds us that the dress comes from Oscar de la Renta.
Máxima opted for even more blue, wearing jewels from her fabulous suite of pieces set with diamonds and brilliant blue tanzanites.
Here’s a closer look at one of the earrings from Tuesday’s visit. The modern earrings feature square tanzanites, set on an angle in a halo of diamonds.
Máxima, as usual, also wore several bracelets and rings with her outfit. On her left wrist, she wore her watch and a gold charm bracelet, and on her left wrist, she added two diamond bracelets, including one featuring the initials of the King and their three daughters.
Máxima also wore the diamond and tanzanite ring from the demi-parure on her right hand, and she finished off the jewelry look with her engagement and wedding rings on her left hand.
